Isla Mujeres Cancun

We begin this tour with the beautiful Isla Mujeres, perhaps the best known due to its location so close to the city of Cancun.

This little paradise is a perfect destination for one or two days, being the most common to visit it in full day mode from Cancun, being able to arrive on your own by taking a ferry from Puerto Juarez or hiring one of the catamaran tours

This island is quite small, although it has a range of tourist activities to do very wide: from touring its colorful streets -whether on foot or renting a golf cart- to its paradisiacal beaches.

In particular if we talk about its beaches, the one that I recommend you do not forget to visit is Playa Norte, considered one of the best beaches in Cancun for its crystalline waters, white sand and gentle waves, also ideal if you travel with children as it seems a great natural pool.

Isla Mujeres - Garrafon

Another tourist place that you can not miss is the Garrafón park, where you can jump on zip lines over the sea, go kayaking and take a traditional steam temazcal bath. Also in this park you will have the possibility to swim with dolphins.

 In addition, you will not want to leave this place without first visiting the “Garrafón” national park and the ruins of the temple of Ixchel, goddess of the island. In the first one you can enjoy all the typical activities of these Caribbean islands until swimming with dolphins!

After that, I recommend you also visit the statue of Ixchel, the Mayan goddess of fertility and abundance, as well as knowing the turtle farm, where you will have contact with three species of protected turtles in addition to many colorful fish.
